Samai Palak Kichadi

Delicious and healthy traditional lunch.

INGREDIENTS :

Samai - 1 cup.

Thoor dal - 1/2 cup.

Moong dal - 1/2 cup.

Palak Puree - 1 bunch (blanche palak  in hot water and make puree).

Green chilli, ginger,onion tomato, cumin seeds, bay leaves, asafotida powder, salt ghee.

METHOD OF COOKING :

1.In a pressure pan add ghee put cumin seeds, bay leaves, green chilis, ginger, asafotida powder and saute for a minute.

2.Add onion tomato and saute for 2 minutes.

3.Add palak puree and saute for 2 minutes.

4.Now add Soaked rice and dal along withe and salt and mix it nicely and cook for 15 mts.

5.Kichedi will be ready.

6.Serve with apple raita.
