Delicious South Indian Desserts made of Poha.

INGREDIENTS :

Kuzhi Adichan Aval – 1 Cup.

Nattu Chakra – 3/4 cup.

Cardamom – 4.

Ghee.

Cashew.

Almonds.

METHOD OF COOKING :

  1. Roast the aval with little ghee.
  2. Grind it coarsely.
  3. In a Pan, add ¼ cup of water and nattu chakra to make a syrup and let it boil for 5 mts.
  4. Add the roasted aval powder and stir it nicely.
  5. Add ghee in between.
  6. Cook for 10 mts in low heat add cardamom.
  7. Temper cashew /Almonds in ghee and add to the aval kesari.
  8. Serve.
