Mallipoo Millet Idli traditional breakfast


INGREDIENTS :

Thinai - 4 cups

Urad Dal- 1 cup

Fenugreek seeds - 1 TSP

Any traditional rice aval - 1/2 cup


METHOD OF COOKING :

Soak Thinai for 4 hrs separately

Soak urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 4 hrs separately

Soak aval for 1 hour before grinding separately.

Grind the urad dal to a batter

Grind Thinai along with Aval to a batter

mix both the batter and add salt and ferment for 8 hrs

 

Make idlis and serve with sambar and pudina chutney
