Delicious and healthy traditional lunch
INGREDIENTS :
Samai - 1 cup
Thoor dal - 1/2 cup
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Palak Puree - 1 bunch (blanche palak in hot water and make puree)
Green chilli, ginger,onion tomato, cumin seeds, bay leaves, asafotida powder, salt ghee
METHOD OF COOKING :
In a pressure pan add ghee put cumin seeds, bay leaves, green chilis, ginger, asafotida powder and saute for a minute
Add onion tomato and saute for 2 minutes
Add palak puree and saute for 2 minutes
Now add
Soaked rice and dal along withe and salt and mix it nicely and cook for 15 mts.
Kichedi will be ready
Serve with apple raita
